With life catching up with me, most of what I have been doing is preparing for other recording opportunities.

Update 9/18/03
We have hooked up with Bruce Smith, and have started gigging as Not Quite Blue. Our first gig at the Mount Tabor Theater netted us a date at Namaste Vineyards for October 11th.
Update: 5-3-03
Latest Update, not complete, but certainly a good chunk-O-bits...
Several different sources have called this one movie chase music for a movie in the south... Not too far off, since I was listening to some Dr John earlier in the day, before we tracked the stuff other than drums. We did two completely different takes based on the same drum track. Then we overdubbed.
This one is the thickest mix we have put together presently. 7 fiddle tracks, bass, drums, and a couple of keyboard tracks. More work with positional separation of individual tracks, and tonal work. This one done during a hardware change, so half was done on an Echo Darla, and the rest was Q10.
Once I have my rig complete again, I expect to have about three more basic tracks to show.

After working out several Acid loops, and getting used to the creation process, We have found Acid to be pretty good for the rhythm tracks, and flexible enough to make the drum machine, but probably not the drummer, obsolete.
